Volunteers

Are you interested in becoming a hospice volunteer ? If so you have probably been touched by a hospice experience. Perhaps a family member or friend has faced the end of life with the support of a hospice team … and now you are inspired to give back. These words are the common echo of individuals called to hospice volunteering.

Compassionate, caring, Volunteers are a foundational cornerstone of Circle of Life Hospice. Benefits received by patients and families through the generous support of hospice volunteers is never forgotten ~ likewise the rewards reported by hospice volunteers are beyond measure.

Circle of Life Hospice provides a comprehensive volunteer training program to those individuals interested in providing respite care to patients and families.

Volunteer Activities include:

  • Patient companionship ~ allows care givers/family members a break
  • Emotional and spiritual support ~ Life Review
  • Reading, correspondence
  • Light house keeping, food preparation, errands, & grocery shopping

Administrative Volunteers are also welcome to provide support with office and clerical tasks, bereavement mailings, and special events.
