Perhaps a family member or friend has faced the end of life with the support of a hospice team and now you are inspired to give back. These words are the common echo of individuals called to hospice volunteering.
Compassionate, caring, Volunteers are a foundational cornerstone of Circle of Life Hospice. Benefits received by patients and families through the generous support of hospice volunteers is never forgotten, likewise the rewards reported by hospice volunteers are beyond measure.
Circle of Life Hospice provides a comprehensive volunteer training program to those individuals interested in providing respite care to patients and families.
Volunteer Activities include: Patient companionship; (allows care givers/family members a break), emotional and spiritual support, life review, reading, correspondence, light house keeping, food preparation, errands, & grocery shopping.
